To start the 2019 year off we have 3 seed library events.
1. Seed Talk
on January 8th, Tuesday at 6:30pm at the White Bear Lake library. The
topic that night will be gardening for Wildlife and People. I'll bring
some suggestions and ideas, but please come to share yours too. The Seed
Talks are a way for all of us to share our knowledge and experience!
2. Winter Farmer's Market,
Saturday January 12th, 9-1, at Tamarack Nature Center. Come to shop for
local produce, meats, honey, cheese, etc at a comfy indoor farmer's
market. The Seed Library has a table with a seed guessing game for a prize!
3. Seed Packaging, January 16, 5-8 pm
at the White Bear Lake library. Come volunteer to help package vegetable
and flower seeds. No experience necessary and it's lots of fun talking
with other gardeners while we package seeds.
I'll
be sending more information about these events as they come up, but I
wanted to let you know about them in advance so you can put them on your
calendar.
Any questions please send them to: wblseedlibrary@gmail.com
